Marsh and Root Join SA20 Marquee List for Season 5

Mitchell Marsh, Joe Root, Sam Curran, Phil Salt, and Jason Holder have been confirmed as marquee overseas signings for the fifth season of the SA20 league.

Durban's Super Giants and Paarl Royals have finalized their 19-player squads, while the remaining four franchises will fill 19 vacant spots during the player auction scheduled for October 7.

The season is set to commence on January 17, 2026, with a rematch between defending champions Sunrisers Eastern Cape and Pretoria Capitals, concluding with the final at Newlands on February 21.
