TANUH, an AI Centre of Excellence at IISc Bengaluru, develops AI-driven diagnostic and decision-support tools for early detection of non-communicable diseases across India.

The centre built Aarogya Aarohan, a mobile app that uses images of lesions to screen for oral cancer, having screened over 70,000 patients in affected regions like Varanasi and Mathura.

3

TANUH also created an India-specific, reinforcement-learning-driven questionnaire to predict breast cancer risk for women over 40 to guide them toward mammogram screenings.
