Take-Two Files Subpoenas Over GTA 6 Leaks

Take-Two Interactive launched legal proceedings in a New York court on Friday, demanding that Microsoft-owned GitHub and Discord identify users sharing leaked footage of the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6.

The developer has remained silent on the leaks, which appeared on Wednesday, while copyright claims have led to the removal of clips and the disappearance of accounts linked to the alleged hackers.

Industry experts, including former technical director Obbe Vermeij, suggest the leaks are unlikely to derail the game's success, despite fans expressing concerns over the company's anti-consumer distribution policies.
