The U.S. aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln arrived in Laem Chabang, Thailand, on September 2, 2026, following a record-setting 286 days at sea.
The vessel, carrying approximately 5,000 sailors and Marines, was deployed in November 2025 and participated in combat operations and a naval blockade during the war with Iran.
The carrier will remain in Thailand for a five-day rest and recuperation period, with local authorities deploying extra patrols to manage the influx of military personnel in Pattaya.
