Centre takes over 39.5 acres of IAF land near Prime Minister's residence

The Indian Air Force handed over 39.5 acres of land comprising the Air Force Sports Complex near Lok Kalyan Marg to the central government.

The transfer to the Land and Development Office forms part of a wider land reclamation drive that previously reclaimed the Delhi Race Club and Jaipur Polo Ground.

The site sits adjacent to the active Air Force Station that houses administrative offices, personnel housing, and VIP air defense systems for New Delhi.
