Raju Kher recalls brother Anupam Kher's first marriage to Madhumalti Kapoor

Actor Raju Kher recalled that his elder brother Anupam Kher's first marriage to actress Madhumalti Kapoor lasted only a single day after taking place at a Lucknow temple.

Raju stated that the family was unaware of the wedding at the time because no relatives were present when the couple married after a multi-year relationship.

Anupam Kher later moved to Mumbai to pursue an acting career, debuted in the 1984 film Saaransh, and married actress Kirron Kher in 1985.
