Landslide in Kerala's Idukki kills two siblings and injures one woman

Two siblings were killed and a woman was injured when a landslide struck Vattavada in Kerala's Idukki district on September 21, 2026.

The injured woman, Mariamma, is receiving hospital treatment funded fully by the state government, as announced by district minister Anoop Jacob.

Minister Anoop Jacob will meet with senior officials and the district collector to review the situation and arrange financial aid for the victims' families.
