Drone Strike Hits Gas Tanker at Egypt's Damietta Port

A US-owned floating storage tanker was hit by a drone at Egypt's Damietta port on Wednesday, causing a fire at the liquefied natural gas terminal.

Maritime security firm Ambrey reported that the crew was successfully evacuated and the blaze was brought under control without any reported injuries.

The incident follows recent regional tensions, including US-Saudi joint attacks in Iraq that killed at least 20 fighters and Iranian missile strikes on US bases.
