Actor Shobhinaw Satyaa praised Flydubai Captain Smit Machchhar for recounting how reciting the Hanuman Chalisa gave him strength during a mid-flight knife attack.
Machchhar successfully saved the lives of 174 passengers despite being stabbed by his Omani co-pilot in the cockpit during a flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv.
After unlocking the cockpit door despite severe injuries, passengers restrained the suspect, and the flight landed safely in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia.
