NCERT clarified that no math topics were omitted from the draft Class 9 Mathematics syllabus, explaining that certain concepts were integrated into other chapters instead of remaining standalone units.

The council stated that the draft syllabus served as an initial proposal for stakeholder feedback, with final versions to be released in October by NCERT and CBSE.
