Diwali Muhurat Trading 2026 scheduled for November 8 in Samvat 2083

Indian stock exchanges BSE, NSE, and MCX will host the annual Diwali Muhurat Trading session on Sunday, November 8, marking the start of Samvat 2083.

The main equity trading session will operate for one hour in the evening from 2:20 pm to 3:30 pm, preceded by a pre-open session at 2:05 pm.

Introduced by BSE in 1957, the symbolic trading session allows investors to make token investments and review portfolios during Lakshmi Puja.
