Ajay Devgn moves Bombay High Court against FDA notice over Vimal ads

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn filed a petition in the Bombay High Court challenging a show-cause notice issued by the Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration over his Vimal Elaichi advertisements.

The FDA alleged the advertisements constitute surrogate promotion for banned chewable pan masala products, with similar notices issued to Shah Rukh Khan and Tiger Shroff.

A division bench of Chief Justice Mahesh Chandra Tripathi and Justice Advait Sethna is scheduled to hear Devgn's petition on November 4.
