
Students across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland received their GCSE results on Thursday, with 67.3% of all grades marked at 4/C and above, a slight decrease from 67.4% last year.
Schools in the South West reported varied successes, including Tor Bridge High achieving record scores and City College Plymouth recording a 98% pass rate in technical and GCSE results.
In England, students who fail to achieve at least a grade 4 in English and maths are required to continue studying these subjects alongside their next educational course.
