Doctors Urge Vigilance Amid Rising H1N1 Cases

India is witnessing a surge in H1N1 cases, with Karnataka reporting over 4,000 infections this year and Delhi recording 2,446 cases as of last Thursday.

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) clarified that no new strain of Influenza A (H1N1) has been identified, attributing the spike to seasonal factors and immunity changes.

Medical experts warn that while most cases remain mild, vulnerable groups like pregnant women and those with chronic conditions should seek evaluation if they experience persistent breathlessness or fever.
