Alaska Democratic Senate candidate Mary Peltola and her family sustained minor injuries in a car accident on Saturday night.
The collision occurred when another driver hit their vehicle while they were travelling to the Alaska Federation of Natives Annual Banquet.
Peltola postponed campaign stops in Fairbanks and Bethel on medical advice as part of her 'Alaska Always Tour'.
