Three Former Maoists in Chhattisgarh’s Bastar Clear Class 10 With First Division

Three former Maoists from Chhattisgarh's Bastar region cleared the Class 10 examination conducted by the Chhattisgarh State Open School with first division under the government's rehabilitation scheme.

Geeta Narote (35), Arjuun Oyam (32), and Santosh Achala (31) were among seven former Maoists out of 210 who surrendered in 2025 to pass the Class 10 exams.

The successful candidates now aspire to pursue further careers, with Narote aiming to become a nurse, Oyam wanting to work as a teacher, and Achala aiming for business and farming.
