Actor Vadivelu will co-star with Dhanush in the upcoming film D 56, marking their first collaboration after an 18-year hiatus following a 2008 set departure.
Speaking at the film's launch ceremony in Madurai, Vadivelu attributed their past lack of cooperation to misunderstandings created by third parties.
Directed by Tamizharasan Pachamuthu, the project is produced by Sithara Entertainments and Primark Productions and features music composed by Sai Abhyankkar.
