Indian Man Sentenced to 20 Years in Paris Over Online Child Abuse Ring

A Paris court sentenced 29-year-old Indian national Rohan Rane to 20 years in prison for leading an international criminal network that coerced minors into producing sexual videos.

The special criminal court found Rane guilty of organized gang extortion with aggravating circumstances of torture and barbarity committed against child victims.

Prosecutors had sought a 30-year jail term for Rane, who led the 'CVLT' group on Discord after moving to France to study.
