The Central Bureau of Investigation extradited Sourabh Chandrakar, promoter of the Mahadev online betting syndicate, from the Sultanate of Oman to India.
Chandrakar will be produced before the CBI Special Court in Raipur in connection with a Rs 6,000-crore money laundering case investigated by federal agencies.
Former Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel has also been named by the CBI in the case following previous allegations of financial kickbacks.
