Gross GST Collections Rise 23% to Over ₹2.31 Lakh Crore in October

Gross Goods and Services Tax collections grew 23% year-on-year to over ₹2.31 lakh crore in October, according to government data released on Sunday.

Revenues from domestic sales rose 16% to over ₹1.59 lakh crore, while collections from imports surged 42% to ₹72,246 crore.

Net GST collections after adjusting for refunds of ₹27,934 crore increased 26% to over ₹2.03 lakh crore during the month.
