The Odisha government revised its schedule for ward delimitation and seat reservation for municipalities and Notified Area Councils ahead of urban local body elections early next year.
District magistrates must issue draft notifications inviting objections and suggestions by September 24, with public feedback accepted until October 3 and provisional notifications published on October 7.
Appeals can be filed with the Housing and Urban Development Department through October 21 for government disposal by October 28, ahead of final notifications on October 31.
