BSNL has proposed a massive ₹77,000 crore capital expenditure plan over the next five years to deploy 200,000 new 4G sites and initiate 5G rollouts.
The state-run telecom operator aims to achieve profitability by FY29 by leveraging indigenous technology and expanding its network reach across rural and urban India.
The proposal is currently under review by the Department of Telecommunications, with the company already nearing the milestone of one lakh indigenous 4G site installations.
