Uttarakhand police booked five individuals, including four female students, for securing MBBS admissions through fraudulent freedom fighter dependent certificates in Dehradun.
Following a complaint, a Dehradun District Magistrate verification committee found the documents suspicious and unable to verify the provided addresses.
HNB Medical Education University subsequently cancelled the four students' MBBS admissions based on the inquiry report submitted by the district administration.
