Cursor Launches ₹649 India-Specific AI Coding Subscription

AI coding startup Cursor introduced 'Cursor Start' in India on Monday, a localized subscription plan priced at ₹649 per month, significantly lower than its standard $20 global Pro tier.

India is currently Cursor's third-largest market, with the user base tripling over the past year and the country hosting over 27 million software developers.

The new plan includes access to Composer 2.5 and Grok 4.5 models, with the company planning to expand its local presence through new hires in Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Mumbai.
