The Odisha government issued a revised notification for the regularisation of junior teachers engaged in state-run primary schools since the 2023-24 academic year.
Eligible junior teachers will be regularised as assistant teachers in pay level-V(A) of the elementary cadre with immediate effect, following protests and legal litigation.
Service rendered prior to December 2025 will be counted in contractual capacity, with regular pay and service benefits taking effect from January 1, 2026.
