Vvaan scores Sidharth Malhotra's biggest opening weekend in 11 years

Deepak Kumar Mishra's action fantasy film Vvaan grossed Rs 39.65 crore globally, with a domestic net opening weekend of Rs 33.25 crore across India.

Despite negative reviews, the film collected Rs 14 crore on its first Sunday across 7,135 screens, marking a 24.4% growth from Saturday.

The film surpassed Sidharth Malhotra's 2012 debut Student of the Year to become his third highest opening weekend and his biggest in 11 years.
