Bharat Briefs stores the information needed to run discussions. Reading news does not require your name, email address or phone number.
Your data and discussions
When you comment, react or report, Supabase creates an anonymous account identifier. We store that identifier with comments, nicknames, reactions and reports. Your comments and nickname are public. Saved stories, reading history, blocked users and preferences are stored on your device. Use Settings → Delete account and data to remove your anonymous account and its comments, reactions and reports. We record the version and date when you accept community rules. News and associated discussions are removed after 30 days. Contact us if you need deletion help.
The current app has no advertising or cross-app analytics SDK. Vercel and Supabase process requests and may retain operational logs. Publisher image servers receive requests when photos load, and opening an original article takes you to that publisher, whose privacy policy applies.
The app requires standard internet permissions to fetch the latest news. We do not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, or storage.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
